König Ludwig Lauf offering free virtual event
The König Ludwig Lauf 2021 was forced to cancellation, but the tracks in Oberammergau are marvelous. If you would have skied their the past days, you may would recognize some signs with a QR-code on it. They are needed for the alternative virtual event the organizers have released now: Mein König Ludwig Lauf 2021.
Free participation, great prizes to win
Everyone can participate from 6th to 28th February. Not the speed, time or distance is important this year, but to be outside and stay active. The participation in the virtual event is for free and everyone from all around the world can join with only a few clicks.
Everyone who accepts and finishes the challenge, will receive a diploma by email. In addition the König Ludwig Lauf organizers raffle prizes like skies, hotel nights, sports clothing etc. among all finishers (raffle day: 31st March). Prizes you can win are:
When you join the challenge, you can publish your experience on Social Media and tag #meinkoenigludwiglauf, so you will be visible in the Hall of Fame.
For all who are on site in Oberammergau/GER, they can ski on the original tracks, find the signs with the QR-codes and check in their results with scanning them in the beginning and end of their skiing session.
