Merino Muster postponed to mid of September

As new COVID restrictions are affecting New Zealand, Merino Muster’s OC has announced, that the Merino Muster 2021 gets postponed for two weeks. New the race should take place on 18th September. The trails at the Snow Farm in Wanaka are in a great shape, as the region has gotten the best snowfalls in years. Now everyone is hoping for a smaller, local but great race day mid of September.

In order to stay fit for the Merino Muster, doesn’t matter if 2021 or another edition in the next years, there is the possibility to join the Virtual Merino Muster. This virtual event gets extended until the 20th of September.

Ushuaialoppet Virtual Edition extended until next week

Due to lack of snow over the past weeks in Argentina, the Ushuaialoppet decided to extend the period of its virtual edition. After the real race was cancelled the OC has organized the Virtual Edition of Ushuaialoppet, so everybody around the globe could join the event. Now the Virtual Ushuaialoppet is lasting until Monday September 6th.

Both virtual events are part of the Virtual Racing League.
