Ski Marathon Festival at La Transjurasienne
The conditions couldn’t have been better for the La Transjurasienne weekend 2022. Slightly sub-zero degrees accompanied by sunshine and a well prepared track guaranteed a great Ski Marathon Festival for about 3500 skiers. On Saturday the classic events were taking place, and today on Sunday it was time for the original La Transjurasienne: 70 km skating technique. The victories go to France.
Winners of La Transjurasienne 2022
When talking about the victory in La Transjurasienne one name was coming to everyones mind: Jean-Marc Gaillard, French Olympic Champion. And indeed, it was him to ski in front of the leading group for a major part of the 70 km. But in the final sprint he lost against three young compatriots. In a very fast time of 2:27:54 Emilien Louvrier crossed the finish line first, a second later Tom Mancini, and with a photofinish Agnellet Gerard secured the third place for him.
Céline Chopard Lallier is celebrating her first victory at La Transjurasienne, 26 seconds ahead of Elisa Brocard from Italy. The third place goes to another French, to Emilie Bulle.

Three new Masters added to the family
At the finish in Chaux Neuve three skiers were already awaited by Pierre Pichon, the President of La Transjurasienne. In his hands, the Master Diplomas. The new Masters have been awarded officially on the podium.
