Russian Khanty-Mansiysk ready for hosting the FIS Worldloppet Cup final

In 2 weeks the great FIS Worldloppet Cup final will take place in Russia’s Khanty-Mansiysk, just like last year. Several stars already entered the 8th stage of the long distance skiing FIS worldcup 2017. Among them, of course, the leaders Candide Pralong and Aurelie Dabudyk and their chasers in the cup overall ranking, but also the Russian skiing legend Sergei Ustjugow is going to ski the 50 km skating race.

The circumstances are perfect! The Siberian winter brought loads of snow and subzero degrees under 50 ° C. Fortunately spring is coming also in Khanty-Mansiysk, promising a perfect race day on the 8th of April. Here are some videos and pictures showing the race venue, the slopes and the conditions.
