Snorri Einarsson wins Fossavatnsgangan 2022
Not surprisingly the local hero Snorri Einarsson took the victory in today’s Fossavatnsgangan 2022 main event over 50 km CT. In a time of 2:29:08 he arrived the finish 2:41 ahead of second placed Dagur Benediktsson. The third place in the men’s competition goes to Jan Svoboda from Czech Republic, who finished 17:40 minutes after Einarsson.
Andrea Kolbeinsdottir fastest lady at Fossavatnsgangan 2022
82 out of 115 women made it to the finish of Fossavatnsgangan 2022 long race. The fastest among them was Andrea Kolbeinsdottir who won with a gap of 1:22 minutes ahead of Gigja Björnsdottir. 7:24 later Mari Jaersk finished third.
