Demino cross country running half-marathon
On June 12, 2015, National Day of Russia, Ski Sport Centre Demino hosted the Demino cross-country running half-marathon, the first event in the Demino Marathons Cup Atomic-Salomon 2015-2016.
The program included 21 km, 7 km, and 1 km races, and gathered athletes from different regions of Russia, from the Baltic Sea to the Sea of Okhotsk, from the Barents Sea to the Black and Caspian Seas. A Nordic Walking event was new in the program but the Organizers hope that it will become a good sporting tradition in Demino and Russia.
The Demino running half-marathon became a family sporting holiday: a lot of children took part in a 1 km race while their fathers competed in a 21 km running challenge, and mothers in a 7 km race.
The Organizers welcome everyone to the next event of the Demino Marathons Cup – the Demino cross-country cycling marathon that is scheduled on August 23, 2015. The final results of the Demino Cup will be on March 12, 2015 after the Demino Ski Marathon Worldloppet.
