End of March Galtür is hosting the Galtür Nordic Volumes, a event series for cross-country skiers. The three-day event is open to amateurs and professionals. On the program: the Galtür Nordic Night Race – a night-time cross-country sprint and the Galtür Cross-Country Climb – they are part of the Austria Cup and FIS competitions. At the Cross-Country Climb participants can register for the HARD (42 kilometres over 900 vertical meters) or LIGHT (25 kilometres over 300 vertical meters) routes. The popular race is open to all with free technique. An expo and a Kids & Juniors Race with a cross-country skiing camp for young athletes conclude the program. The total prize pool is €15,000.
