Groomers work every day on Bieg Piastow 2023 tracks
Natural tracks in the forest, wonderful landscapes, friendly atmosphere, easy access from airports in Poland, Czech Republic and Germany – this is legendary Bieg Piastow 2023 in Poland. And the tracks of our Polish member race are already full of snow and the groomers work every day.

Also participants wise work is in full progress: Registration is going in record shape in 47-years history. On the start list there are already more than 3000 racers from 20 countries. But no worries, registration for Bieg Piastow 2023 is still possible.
On the first weekend of March 2023 the participants will ski 25, 50 km CT and 30 km FT. It will be a historical edition of Bieg Piastów. The new, very modern venue – Dolnośląskie Centrum Sportu Polana Jakuszycka – will be the new start and finish.
The regional and country government have built this stadium with all the facilities needed by racers, over the past year. Cost was about 60 millions euros! Must be one of the biggest invests in cross-country skiing in the 21st century.
But the main part of the track is – as usual – natural in the great forest of Izera Mountains.
Find here a Video-Blog from Gunnar. He travelled 15 hours by car in 2021 to ski the Bieg Piastow Individual race (during the Covid pandemic, mass starts were not possible). You’ll see the beautiful tracks through the deep woods of Jakuszyce glades.
