Dolomiten Lauf

Two weeks to go until the ski marathon season is going to start also in Europe. The Dolomitenlauf 2023 in Austria is going to take place from January 20th to 22nd. This weekend will start with a lot of action in the Dolomitensprint on Friday evening. On Saturday the skating races over 42 and 20 kilometers are on the program, on Sunday the same distances in Classic technique.

For the first time this year, the organizers offer also a 5 km Easyrace. So, if you just want to go for a short race, or if you want to do a main race but only a short one on the other day, this is your chance.

All races taking place in Obertilliach

The Dolomitenlauf races are going to be held in Obertilliach. This mountain village has received more snow than the other parts of Austria, which is why the event is going to be surrounded by great winter mountain landscapes. Also the tracks are in perfect condition in Obertilliach as they get prepared every day.

Many national teams have trained ther already this winter. Another advantage of this location is the Biathlon center which is the venue of start and finish. With its facilities it severs the needs of the skiers before and after the race.
