The 7th edition of the Transju’trail
The events will take place on Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st 2014 between Mouthe and Les Rousses on the trails of the Montagnes du Jura.
New this year – Transju’verticale:
A vertical climb against the clock! An original way to exceed your limits in an amazing decor!
Racers will take their start in the square Jean Jaurès in Morez, tour Morez for a 1200 m warm-up tour before attacking the point of Arce: a 700 m climb with 250 m of positive altitude.
This concept of the kilometre vertical climb against the clock with true technical challenges in a short and intense effort pushing athletes to their limits is an effort well known to trailers, an effort combining force and endurance.
«Semi-marathon» The Ladies’ Transju… Because they’re worth it!
«What I really like about this race is the conviviality, the big number of participants and the diversity of the scenery…” like Laurence, more and more women are enjoying the effort of trail running events. In 2011,Trans’Organisation decided to give birth to a « feminist », version creating a start especially for women as well as a profile and distances adapted and dedicated especially to them. The ladies “lose not” in terms of difficulty and beauty of scenery in the process and this event has been a huge success from the very beginning!
The “Semi-marathon” will take off at 10:30 in Prémanon and finish in Les Rousses, via Les Tuffes, La Dôle, and le Bief de la Chaille… a total of 23 km and 1 100 m of positive altitude.
