Final adaptions to La Transjurasienne 2023 route

Environmental responsibility is one of the most important commitments from the organizers of La Transjurasienne. Therefore they have adapted the race courses and the event to its environment and nature, and not the other way around. In order to additionally guarantee optimal skiing conditions, the organizers had to do some final changes on the race course for the upcoming weekend.

La Transjurasienne 2023 is going to set off at the historic start site in Lamoura. Then it will lead through the Forêt du Massacre to reach Prémanon, then Les Rousses. All events (from 20 to 47 km in both techniques) will take place between Lamoura and Les Rousses. FIS TD William Trachsel said, that this course version is a good solution regarding the circumstances. The organizers even have harvested snow from the fields to build the track.

The weather forecast is promising: Sunshine and sub zero degrees for both race days. The biggest favourite for the victory is Maurice Manificat.
