Transju Track-Talk – January 28, 2014
La Transjurassienne will most probably take place between Lamoura and Mouthe. We are doing everything in our power to make it happen!
At this date there are 2 sections of our track that are still in fragile condition and in need of reinforcement to assure optimal conditions. Our track preparation team is active and busy at work between:
– Prémanon and Les Rousses
– Chaux-Neuve and Mouthe
Although coming into the finish area in Mouthe is in need of reinforcement, it is still possible to approach the finish area in Mouthe coming from the upper forest areas where the tracks remain in excellent condition.
The weather forecast is favorable up through Thursday, February 6th but we remain vigilant and are making preparations to cover the possibility of extreme unfavorable conditions so that you will be able to dispute your race in the best possible conditions.
