Tatjana Mannima (EST) overall leader of FIS Marathon Cup 2013, winner of Tartu Maraton in 2005, will race this Sunday for the highest place on the podium of 42^nd Tartu Maraton.

Anders Aukland, previous leader of FIS Marathon Cup 2013 will race on this Sunday also. As leaders Sergio Bonaldi (ITA) and Benoit Chauvet (FRA) are not in the start list, Aukland has a chance to become the leader of FMC once again.

Start list of elite men also show that Jörgen Brink, last year’s winner of Tartu Maraton, is planning to race Tartu Maraton this year also. Will he win two times in a row? This question will get the answer already this Sunday.

But Tartu Maraton is more than just a elite race – thousands of sports fans take part in the marathon also – altogether 42^nd edition of Tartu Maraton has 8500 registered participants from whom 148 are Worldloppet masters.

42^nd edition of Tartu Maraton takes place already this Sunday, on the 17^th of February.
