Tomorrow will bring the dress rehearsal of 42nd Tartu Maraton which will bring along the 2nd Tartu Ski Relay, open track 63 and 31 km races (also Worldloppet races) and 16 km ladies’ race.
Tartu Ski Relay will take place for the second time and this year there are 50% more teams than last year – 156 four-member teams are going to race tomorrow alongside over 500 open track racers. This means that over 1000 skiers will enjoy the course of legendary Tartu Maraton this weekend.
Relay is popular among different collectives – families, friends, co-workers and athletes. Estonian Olympic rowing team is going to race tomorrow; The University of Tartu is represented with 8 teams.
42nd Tartu Maraton, 7th stage of FIS Marathon Cup, will take place on the 17th of February.
