Pietro Piller Cottrer handing over Worldloppet Master diplomas
At the occaison of the 40th edition of the Marcialonga, Pietro Piller Cottrer (ITA), Olympic Champion with the team in Salt Lake City 2002 and in Torino 2006 and Silver Medallist over 15km in Vancouver 2010 and World Champion over 15km in Oberstdorf 2005, took the opportunity to hand over the diplomas to the new Worldloppet Masters. Together with Angelo Corrdini, the Secretary General of the Worldloppet Ski Federation, he also handed the diploma to Hannes Larsson, the 24-time Worldloppet Master. With his many titles, Larsson is the leader of the all time best list of achieved Worldloppet Master titles.
Around 100 Worldloppet passport holders came to the cocktail organised by the Marcialonga on the evening of its 40th edition.
