Team Coop, the world’s leading long distance cross-country ski team is ready for Sunday’s Czech Jizerska Padesatka, 50 K in classic technique.
 
Team Coop is a strong international team in which all the nine athletes will compete this weekend: Oskar Svärd (Sweden), Jimmie Johnsson (Sweden), Jenny Hansson (Sweden), Roger Aa Djupvik (Norway), Espen Harald Bjerke (Norway), Morten Eide Pedersen (Norway), Seraina Boner (Switzerland), Nicola Morandini (Italy) and Lukas Bauer (Czech Republic).
 
The athletes are looking forward to get started with the season in which the starting grid is strong and the pace high. “Jizerska has over the years become one of my favourite races. The track is tough and the competition will be high. The last period has recently been somewhat difficult because of sinusitis and antiobiotics “says Oskar Svärd.
 
David Nilsson, Team Coops Team Director is anyhow optimistic. “We have a new and exciting team that could surprise positively with both experienced and new athletes. I´m very pleased that the season is about to start”.
