How to get a Worldloppet Passport Stamp at König Ludwig Lauf and La Transju 2024
After two cancellations we now can come with some good news again: All Passport Holders who have been travelling or travel to the race venues of the cancelled König Ludwig Lauf and La Transjurasienne can still get a stamp to their Worldloppet Passport.
Due to the very mild weather and rain our German member race, the König Ludwig Lauf – planned for this weekend – had to be canceled. Same count for the French member race, La Transjurasienne, which should have taken place in two weeks. Sad enough. But the Worldloppet office together with the race organizers have been working hard on coming up with an alternative solution, to guarantee registered passport holders to still get their stamp. König Ludwig Lauf: Individual Race on Ettal’s training course
The organizers of König Ludwig Lauf have used the stock of artificial snow and the rest of what was left from the natural snow to prepare a training track in Ettal – the start venue of the original race. Skiers who are registered for König Ludwig Lauf 2024 can ski their individual race on that track and record it with sportswatch or smartphone. Then they have to send the file to [email protected]. The organizers will check and proof it and send an official confirmation back. With this confirmation the participants will get the stamp at the next possibility (another Worldloppet event or at 2025’s König Ludwig Lauf).

- Own a Worldloppet Passport
- Be registered for König Ludwig Lauf 2024
- Ski at least 21 km on the training track in Ettal
- Track your individual race with Sportwatch or Smartphone
- Send the file via email to the organizers
La Transjurasienne: Ski on Massacre Forest tracks
Part of La Transju tracks are groomed and ready to ski on. Every skier registered for La Transju 2024 can ski on the Nordic Tracks of Massacre Forest. At least 25 km are needed and need to be recorded with a GPS device (gpx/strava…). The distance has to be covered either on Saturday 10th or Sunday 11th February 2024 (the original race dates). After this individual race, skiers have to present their Passport and the file to the Transju’ team: Between 9am and 5pm on both days at the Salle de l’Ominibus (39220 Les Rousses).

- Track your individual race with GPS device
- Show your Passport and file to the Transju’ team at Salle de l’Omnibus Les Rousses
