The conditions for the upcoming Finlandia-hiihto this weekend are looking fantastic. As evident from recent observations, Lahti has been blessed with plenty of snow, including the fields of Savistenpää.

Despite predictions of drizzle, they’ve received snowfall instead, ensuring a snowy landscape for the participants. With light frost expected by early Saturday morning, everything is set for excellent conditions for the races.

Nearly 4,000 skiers are set to participate over the weekend, promising a spectacular event. For Sunday the forecast brings milder but slippery conditions. Event Director Markku Levänen has expressed satisfaction with the current preparations
