Fresh snow is promising a great Worldloppet season opener in Argentina

Argentina’s most popular cross-country skiing event is going to kick off another season of Worldloppet in two weeks. The 36th Ushuaia Loppet and the 12th Marchablanca, will kick off on August 18 and promise to captivate cross-country skiing enthusiasts in the southernmost part of the planet.

The Club Andino Ushuaia is excited for a new edition of the iconic event on the scenic tracks in Tierra del Fuego. The Tierra Mayor Winter Center, just 20 km from the city of Ushuaia, will be the starting and finishing point. Snow conditions have improved with recent snowfall and the work has begun to lay out the course. Let’s hope the cold weather continues!
