Whether you’re a cross-country skiing enthusiast or a seasoned athlete, La Transju’ is a must in the Worldloppet calendar. Set in France’s magnificent Jura Massif, the various events on the program offer much more than just a sporting challenge.

1. A route through magnificent landscapes
The Transju’ takes you through the unique landscapes of the Jura Mountains: vast spruce forests, snow-covered extent, peat bogs and an emblematic passage through small French villages… You’ll have the chance to discover exceptional panoramas, combining wild nature and picturesque villages.

One of the must-sees is the Massif du Risoux, with its beautiful panoramic views in the heart of a dense forest. You’ll pass between snow-covered spruce trees, creating an almost magical atmosphere. Another highlight of the route is the passage through a number of typical French villages: the crossing of Bois-d’Amont and Les Rousses adds to the charm of the route, with their traditional houses and warm atmosphere, supported by the local ski clubs. Further on, the vast extent of Chapelle-des-Bois offer skiers an uninterrupted view of the white expanses of the Haut-Doubs region. The village is also particularly popular for its festive atmosphere. The locals, bells in hand, cheer on all the skiers, creating a real festive atmosphere.
2. A French gastronomic experience
Because France is renowned for its rich and generous gastronomy , La Transju’ will immerse you in the French art of living.
All along the route, refreshment points will allow you to recharge your batteries with typically local products: mature Comté cheese, sausage from Morteau (a nearby French village), traditional charcuterie and many other specialities will accompany you all the way to the finish line. And after the effort, there’s time for a convivial meal where you can celebrate your achievement with the other participants. On the menu: the famous chicken with morel mushrooms and yellow wine, emblematic of the region, to round off this 100% Jura adventure.

Taking part in La Transju’ is much more than a competition, it’s a human adventure marked by warmth and conviviality, bringing together more than 3,500 runners.
The atmosphere here is unique: runners, volunteers and spectators together form a big family where every participant, amateur or elite, is encouraged and supported. The Transju ‘spirit is all about smiles, surpassing your limits, conviviality and crazy supporters. With the adrenalin at the start, the excitement in the middle of the race and the unspeakable emotions at the finish, get ready for a memorable adventure full of mutual support.

4. A special welcome, just for you
As a member of the Worldloppet, La Transju’ offers you a warm and special welcome. International skiers registered with the Worldloppet passport have a dedicated area with coffee and pastries to get the day off to a good start, plus a welcome gift. It’s an opportunity to meet ski enthusiasts from all over the world in a friendly atmosphere. The pre- and post-race shuttle bus is also offered to Worldloppet registrants. 25 participating nationalities make La Transju a true international experience.
5. Find the distance that suits you
The Transju’ offers a wide variety of events for all levels: 7 races in total, in skating or classic, and in different formats – timed or rando – of 25, 50 and 70 km. Whether you’re a beginner looking for a touring adventure, or an experienced skier ready to take on the challenge of a timed race, there’s an event for everyone. This diversity means that every participant, whatever their level or objectives, can enjoy a unique experience, while taking part in an internationally renowned event.

More than 3,000 people will be lining up for the start on 8 and 9 February: registration is limited to 4,500 participants.
