Coming Worldloppet events secured: La Transju & Jizerska 50 taking place
Day by day we are closely monitoring weather forecast, snow situation and current conditions at our race destinations. At the moment all eyes are on Jura Mountains in France and the Jizera Mountains in Czechia, venues of the upcoming two Worldloppet events: Coming weekend La Transjurasienne and Jizerska 50 are on the program. Despite challenging weather conditions over the past weeks we got good news from both venues: The races are going to take place!
La Transju 2025 on a loop in Les Rousses Resort
After studying all the options, La Transju’ has been confirmed around the Les Rousses resort, on the Darbella site in the commune of Prémanon. As a result of the recent thaw, the connecting runs between the massifs have been damaged. However, unlike last year, there are still areas of good snow cover around Les Rousses. Due to the lack of access to certain areas for environmental reasons, a fallback route has been found on this site, the only one capable of welcoming you in the best possible conditions.
The new route is a 40 km course (3 loops of 13.3 km) for an edition adapted to the snow and weather conditions.

Jizerska 50 finally confirms a 47 km race course
“We are delighted to announce that, thanks to the tremendous efforts of many volunteers, we have managed to restore and secure the problematic section around Krásná Máří. On Sunday, February 9, all participants of the 50 km race will pass through this area. Here is the final version of the 50-kilometer race route. The VW Bedřichovská 30 and Jizerská 25 will follow the new routes introduced last week.”, officially announce the organizers of Jizerska 50.

The 50-kilometer race route will ultimately include the Krásná Máří section for all participants in the Sunday classic race. The total length of the route will be approximately 47 kilometers due to a minor adjustment — compared to last week’s published version, there is a change near the end of the course. From the Gregorův kříž junction, racers will head towards the Za přehradou junction, then continue to Vládní – U Nové louky, and finally follow the traditional route back to Bedřichov. The final version thus closely resembles the traditional route, with the exception of Olivetská hora.
