Marcialonga introducing a new event for 2027
Marcialonga 32km, which rounds off the range alongside the classic 70km race and the 45km Marcialonga Light.
The 32km Marcialonga was conceived as a ‘Just for fun’ event, to introduce even more people to the world of cross-country skiing and to the atmosphere that makes the Marcialonga unique on an international level.
The race will start on the same day as the 70km and 45km Marcialonga races 31.01.2027, also from Moena, but the start will be at 11.00 am. Competitors will head straight towards the Val di Fiemme, arriving in Cavalese after 32 km.
The route presents no major technical difficulties, and those taking part will be able to enjoy iconic sections such as the Olympic stadiums and the final challenge of the Cascata climb with the famous “Witch’s Wall”, the last effort before raising their arms to the sky in the packed square of Cavalese.
This is the Marcialonga designed for those who measure their day not by the stopwatch, but by the emotions experienced along the route.

Is the new distance valid for the Worldloppet passport?
Yes! And there’s more! The 32km Marcialonga event will count towards Worldloppet Silver Master status, whilst the other distances – 45km and 70km – will count towards Gold Master status.
Registration is now open, and until 31 August, the reduced entry fee of € 104 will apply to the 70km and 45km races, and € 90 to the new 32km Marcialonga.
