Bad news arriving us from Austria: Dolomitenlauf cancelled!
Unfortunately we have received bad news from Austria. In Austria the lockdown got extended until the weekend of the 24th of January – the weekend, the Dolomitenlauf was scheduled.
“The restrictions leave us no other choice than cancel the Dolomitenlauf 2021. This is very painful, specially because we are having a perfect snow situation here in East Tyrol. It would have been an unforgettable experience for our participants!”, says Franz Theurl, OC-chief.
As promised, all paid entry fees will be valid for next year’s edition, or paid back for justified reasons.
Virtual Racing League as alternative
For all who don’t want to miss Worldloppet skiing around the world this winter, we have founded the Virtual Racing League. Many race organizers provide a virtual race as replacement in case of cancellation.
