400 skiers entered for the Kangaroo Hoppet 2017
In Falls Creek the preparations for the Kangaroo Hoppet are in full swing. On the 26th of August the Worldloppet skiers are going to ski 42 km through the nature of Falls Creek in free technique. Already yet, snow is falling and the tracks are freshly groomed, very fast and in great conditions for training and for the race.
So far over 400 skiers entered the second Worldloppet race of the season (1st is the Ushuaialoppet in Argentina) which is the usual number for this time of the year. Many of the entered skiers are internationals.
The organizers have a brand new selection of Australian Made souvenirs available at the Hoppet Shop this year, as well as a New Look race start and finish area.
