Gatineau Loppet Vlog: 🇨🇦 Gunnar’s Nordic Adventures at Gatineau Loppet 2022 🇨🇦

After the 50 km classic style ski marathon Gatineau Loppet in the beautiful Gatineau Park and the NHL hockey match between Ottawa Senators and the Boston Bruins, it was time for me, to experience Canada’s wildlife.

🐕 🛷 First I got an invitation from a wolve pack… Ok it were no wolves, it were dogs. The Tanwen Pack in Montpellier, not far from the venue of Gatineau Loppet. Eric and his 40 dogs are offering sport dog sled rides through the snowy woods of Quebec. Oh man, great fun it was! Exhausting, but also great fun and of course, the teamwork with the dogs, the astonishing nature and the expertise from Eric is worth its money. 🦬 🐺 Afterwards I’ve been visiting the Parc Omega, the home of 450 animals from Canada. Bisons, Karibu, bears, wolves… Many of them you can feed from the car. Definitely a must see, when you have some days time after the Gatineau Loppet. 👉 https://www.parcomega.ca/

🛖 I had the honor to end this astonishing days at the world’s biggest chalet (at least the biggest I have ever seen). The Fairmont Hotel Montebello has such a cozy atmosphere, exactly the thing you need after 50 km skiing through the Gatineau Park. 👉 https://www.fairmont.com/montebello/
