More Than Just a Ski Race
Vasaloppet China isn’t just about skiing—it’s about immersing yourself in Chinese culture and the majestic beauty of the region. The starting area in Jingyue Park is a true winter wonderland, with the famous massive snow sculptures. Crafted from over 100,000 cubic meters of snow, these sculptures stand more than 30 meters tall and offer a spectacular backdrop.

Mr. Martin from the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and experienced cross-country skier, is eagerly preparing for 2025’s edition already: “It’s such a pity I couldn’t join Vasaloppet China last year because of my schedule. This year, I bought a new ski specially and I am very excited to use it on the 50KM course in Vasaloppet China.”
Also Worldloppet’s official – Leszek Kosiorowski (Board Member and Media Officer at Bieg Piastow) – is looking forward to visiting China for the first time: “I am looking forward to going to China very much. My colleagues have been there, and told great stories and experiences. This winter, finally I will start my trip to China myself. It’s great the represent Worldloppet at our important member race in China.”
