In Vasaloppet China 2025, James Finnie, 73 years old from Australia, has successfully finished Vasaloppet China 50 km Male Group in 05:56:50. He was the last skier to reach the finish line.
James Finnie travelled 18 hours from Australia to Changchun, Jilin, China. His participation showed his perseverance and determination. He said: “I’m very happy to have made it to the end. This is the first time I have completed a skiing race abroad. Those snow sculptures are so amazing. I enjoyed the race every minute.” Among all the skiers, his persistence and courage are particularly outstanding and have become an unforgettable scene in Vasaloppet China 2025.
