Tartu Marathon

The venue of the Tartu Maraton had some summer action last weekend with a Swedish victory in the 36th Tartu Rattaralli.

After a charity run today, the 35th Tartu Jooksumaraton children’s events are scheduled for this weekend in Tartu.

Aurelie Dabuyk and Bastien Buttin, both from NTHS, won today’s 6th FIS Worldloppet Cup stage in Otepää.

After snowfalls yesterday, the alternative race course in Otepää was great for today’s race. Tomorrow the FIS Worldloppet Cup elite will hit the tracks.

This weekend the FIS Worldloppet Cup circuit travels to Otepää, for the 44th Tartu Maraton.

If the next days won’t bring us a significant amount of snow, the main events of the 44th Tartu Maraton will take place in Tehvandi.

The Open Track and the 5th Tartu Relay Marathon are just six days away. This year they will take place in Haanja, which is the second time in history.

Tartu Maraton’s Open Track race and the 5th Tartu Relay Marathon will most likely take place in Haanja.

Race Director Indrek Kelk: “Most important is to have a secure back-up plan.”

Everyone who wants to visit the Worldloppet International Skifederation from now on is invited to the new head office in Tartu.

With the new Worldloppet President came also a new structure and a new office.
