Demino is Getting Ready for Worldloppet
More than 1700 skiers are now in the starting list of the main 50 km FT race and there are three days more to register for the International Demin Ski Marathon in Russia. Skiers from 18 countries and 50 regions of Russia will start their 50 km ski challenge on March 12, 2016. The number of bibs for the main race is limited to 2000 and last-minute entries on race days are limited.
The 25 km lap groomed every day and night is now in perfect condition. This year the organizers are lucky not to suffer from lack of snow, and weather forecasts for the race days are inspiring – from 0° to 4°C.
This year all skiers will have reusable timing transponders that will allow to know real starting time of each skier (last year skiers in one starting group had the same starting time). As a special service, the finishers will receive a sms with their results. Online video stream will be available during the race as well as live results (here).
