Increased TV production of the FIS Marathon Cup

After last year’s success of the 3min News from all FIS Marathon Cup races to all its member stations by EBU/ Eurovision, this year’s TV production is increased. All FIS Marathon Cup races will now produce a 26min Highlight feed which will be provided to more than 120 TV stations around the world. Some races have already tried out a 15-26min report last year. Especially the big success of the repeated diffusion of La Transjurassienne on Eurosport France showed the increased interest in long distance skiing and motivated everyone to work even harder in this domain to satisfy this increased demand of moving images of marathon ski races.

Fans to benefit from increased TV interesting

Through the production of this 26min Highlight feed for the TV, all fans of long distance skiing will benefit – even though they might not be able to get the TV feed directly via their own TV. The 3min News as well as the 26min Highlights will also be available on the Worldloppet web page (www.worldloppet.com) – just a couple of days after the race. Everybody can then enjoy the fascination of marathon skiing.
