Jizerska 50 will take place this weekend

The good news first: The CEZ Jizerska 50 will take place next weekend! Taking advantage of the freezing weather and production of artificial snow, the organizers are sure to prepare a course that will be the scene for all weekend races. A four to six kilometres long alternative course (depending on weather development) an with an alternative starting system, but the Jizerska 50 will start.

Snow-making equipment is in full play at Bedrichov these days, and simultaneously, artificial snow is continuously delivered along the entire track. In case of a favourable weather, the circuit may be made longer. Nevertheless, weather forecasts give little hope that the necessary amount of natural snow would eventually fall at Bedrichov. The entrants will cover four laps starting in starting groups amounting to 400 racers at the most. Each group will have its exact start time and the track reserved for two hours.
