Kangaroo Hoppet ready to kick off the new Worldloppet season
On the 28th August it is time for a new Cross-Country skiing season, a new season of Worldloppet ski marathons. The Kangaroo Hoppet in Falls Creek, Australia, is going to celebrate its 30th jubilee. 42km, 21km and 7km are standing on the program. Obviously, due to ongoing travel restrictions, the event will be an Australian national event, but for international skiers, the OC is coming up with a second edition of the successful Kangaroo Hoppet Do It Your Way virtual event.

Kangaroo Hoppet Do It Your Way
It is easy for everybody to join: Choose your preferred exercise over a 42km, 21km or 7km route of your choice. Examples include walking, running, cycling, mountain biking, skiking, roller skiing or even Cross-Country skiing. Complete your activity between the 15th and 29th August and upload your result. Please note, the results for virtual event will be published separately from those of the on-snow-event.
All virtual finishers will receive a printable race number, a souvenir neck warmer and a post event certificate.

Virtual Racing League going into a second round
The virtual Kangaroo Hoppet is also part of the Virtual Racing League. The league is going into another season, as the feedback was amazing. Until now it is not 100 % clear, if there will be new titles, or the possibility to collect multiple titles. More info coming soon. Check out the Virtual Racing League Facebook Page, for more.
