The Lillehammer Troll Ski Marathon is a wonderful ski trip starting from Venabygd and ending in Sjusjøen. The course is offering magnificent mountain sceneries all along. The profile is perfectly smooth and follows the Trolløypa (troll tracks). The altitude is between between 850 and 1000 m.o.s.l.
The next edition of Lillahemmer Troll Ski Marathon is taking place on April 6th 2024.
With its start in April good snow conditions at the best period of the winter are guaranteed since its first edition in 1994. The atmosphere is friendly and focused on a great mountain experience on cross country skis. All distances finish finish in Sjusjøen.
The race offers now two techniques and the free technique 120 km is the longest skating ski marathon on the circuit. Try this challenge!

Transportation
To get to the Lillehammer Troll Ski Marathon you can take the train from Oslo Airport or from Lillehammer to Ringebu (check schedule and book here). Transfer busses to hotels in Venabygd from Ringebu railway station available. They need to be booked at the hotels.
On evening prior the race and on race morning, busses from Sjusjøen and Lillehammer to start/hotels at Venabygd or Gopollen (45 km) are available and can be booked together with race registration.
