New route, new challenge, same tradition – Dolomitenlauf 2024
The snowfall over the past few days has transformed the region around Obertilliach in the Austrian Dolomites into a true winter paradise. The Dolomitenlauf trail is already making its mark through snow-covered forests, across meadows and along deep winter river landscapes. Fresh temperatures will also ensure excellent conditions over the next few days, making the Dolomitenlauf an unforgettable cross-country skiing experience for all participants.
The organizing team is particularly proud that it has been possible to find a much less challenging route in the Tyrolean Lesachtal for the first time. This should make it possible for less trained cross-country skiers to tackle the challenge of the 42 km route on January 20th and 21st.
The Dolomitenlauf will once again be a celebration of like-minded people coming together. A total of 1500 participants from over 25 nations are expected to take part. The co-organizing clubs have ensured that everything runs smoothly. The desired Dolomitenlauf medal & the Worldloppet stamp await all participants at the finish line, according to the motto “Everyone a winner above himself!”
