Norwegians Skaug and Fleten on top of Marcialonga 2024 results
Today morning the start gun released 7000 skiers from Moena to the 70 km long track through the valleys Fiemme and Fassa, through multiple villages and finally up to Cavalese. With slight sub zero degrees and later sunshine it were fast conditions. Who is standing on top of Marcialonga 2024 results?
The Norwegians have been dealing best with these conditions: Runar Skaug Mathisen was the fastest guy after a single breakaway and Emilie Fleten was the fastest lady today. While Mathisen only has a gap of not even 5 seconds to second placed Emil Persson from Sweden and another second to place three, Johan Hoel, the ladies winner could enjoy the finish lane on her own: On the final climb, Fleten brought some meters between her and second placed Magnis Smedas. Third placed Finish skier Kati Roivas had to sprint to the podium.

Already yesterday at the Masters Reception we had the honor to award 5 new masters. This afternoon we will award another bunch of skiers to become part of the real elite of marathon skiing: The Worldloppet Masters.
