In February 2024 the king of cross-country ski races is going to take place for the 100th time. A jubilee many skiers want to be part of. The main event of the Vasaloppet Winter Week, the 90 km Vasaloppet is fully booked for months already. But there are still chances to be part of Swedens Worldloppet race.

Worldloppet Masters’ Special Entry Right

Like in the previous years, Worldloppet Masters benefit from a special entry right. Even tough the race is fully booked already, all skiers who have the title Worldloppet Master (after finishing 10 different WL races) are still allowed to enter the Vasaloppet 2024.

Alternative Vasaloppet Winter Week 2024 Events

Over a whole week there are events and races planned between Sälen and Mora. 14 different races are on the program between February 23rd and March 3rd. If you want to be part of the anniversary edition but have no bib for the main race, you still can enter another event. All of them are still open and plenty bibs are available.

Why not skiing the Vasaloppet without standing and waiting an hour on the first uphill, but still get the same vibe and feeling? In the open track events (Öppet Spar) you can enjoy the magic of Vasaloppet in a more chilled atmosphere. Feeding stations, race course, service is the same. Tracks are even better for the single skier, because there is no crowd running over it before you.
