The 39th Dolomitenlauf is ensured in Obertilliach!
The course for the 39th Dolomitenlauf is designed new this year. Over 2000 skiers from all around the world are looking forward to a picturesque winter wonderland and a little toned down route profile.
PIETRO PILLER COTTRER REINFORCES THE ITALIAN TEAM
In the last years, the Dolomitenlauf was dominated by the Italian team. Fabio Santus was after his victory in 2011 also unbeatable in 2012. At the 39th Dolomitenlauf world-class athlete Pietro Piller Cottrer is going to start, and therefore the likelihood of a new victory for Italy is high.
But a rough competition is secured due to the start of the Skinfit Racing team around Marc Hager. Markus Ottosson of Sweden, Martin Bajcicak from Slovakia as well as Toni Escher from Germany will also be involved in the fight of the desirable victory. Spain is also represented by a strong team and the German FIS Marathon Cup team around Thomas Freimuth also raises his hopes for a place on the winner’s podium. And of course also Norway has got a strong team. Other competitors arrive from Russia with the team “Vitargo”. The nominations of the Austrian Ski Team are still open. – In any case, the best athletes from all around Austria should be brought to the starting line to resubmit the winner of the Dolomiten Sprint 2013.
While the top athletes are having a rough competition who is going to take home the victory of the 39th. Dolomitenlauf, over 2000 amateur skiers from all around the world are enjoying the race. According to the motto “Everyone is a winner over himself” everybody is welcome to start at the Dolomitenlauf, whether in the long distance of 42km or also the short distance of 20km.

On Saturday the 19th January 2013 at the “Dolomite Classic Race” with 42/20 km perfect conditions are waiting for the participants. The new route is particularly bringing the friends of the classical cross-country skiing a lot of joy.
