Transju Track Talk

Our long awaited snowfalls arrived last weekend and as of the beginning of this week, the Transju track is once again covered with snow and the majority of the course is groomed and practicable.

As of Monday, two extra snow groomer vehicles were delivered by our Kässbohrer partner to reinforce the 8 permanent grooming machines already onsite; all 10 machines are concentrating all efforts for the upcoming Transjurassienne.

More snow is in the forecast for this week followed by negative temperatures which will allow us to continue to reinforce and maintain the Transju tracks in optimal conditions.

Once the negative temperatures hit we will begin: evacuating residual wet sections, reinforce these sections with natural snow in the surrounding areas and work non-stop at producing snow at our established snow culture sites.

Next Transju Track-Talk on Wednesday, January 27th.

Have a great week and happy skiing!
