On my journey to the Kangaroo Hoppet, the Australian Worldloppet race, I tried out surfing for the first time. Right next to Melbourne Airport, only 20 minutes walking distance, there is the artificial surfing wave Urban Surf Melbourne located. It was my first time, so I went for a beginner’s lesson. And what shall I say, look by yourself – I achieved to climb the board.
