With 2571 entries, the 47th edition of the Canadian Gatineau Loppet 2025 records its highest participation rate in the last fifteen years. The organization was also delighted to welcome representatives from 23 countries, four more than last year.

“It was an incredible edition, and I’d like to raise my token to the 250 volunteers who coped with the challenges of the weather to deliver a memorable event worthy of the world’s greatest cross-country ski races,” says Philippe Lebel, President of the Gatineau Loppet’s Board of Directors.

The victories all went to Canadians: Alexandre Bourque and Stella Duncan won the Classic 50 km race and Felix-Olivier Moreau and Hannah Shields won the Free Style 50km race.
