The Worldloppet family is split up this weekend. One part travelled to the Jura mountains in France, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of La Transjurasienne and see the FIS Worldloppet Cup stage 4, the other part is visiting the Czech Republic for the Jizerska50.
Excitement is at its peak in the Jura Mountains with the confirmation of the different Transju’ courses and we couldn’t have dreamed of a more beautiful birthday present for La Transju’. For its 40th birthday La Transju’ will be reunited with its historic track and Sunday’s event will reunify Lamoura to Mouthe, in the Doubs.
Tomorrow two Worldloppet races are going to take place. One on the other side of the Globe, in Japan: The Sapporo Skimarathon. The other one is taking place in Germany, in Oberammergau. The König Ludwig Lauf is going to host the 3rd FIS Worldloppet Cup stage 2019 tomorrow.
